Kim Delaney, an American actor best known for her role as Detective Diane Russell on ABC's NYPD Blue series, for which she received the Emmy Award. Delaney is the daughter of an executive in the United Auto Workers who was also an auntie. Delaney has four older brothers. Her first job as an actor was as an innocent teenager in the 1981 soap opera All My Children. Delaney is a well-known actress who has been featured in a variety of TV movies, and dramas. Her marriages have also been unsuccessful twice. She was divorced in 2005 and lost custody of the only child she was born with.
